What climbers say again and again

“Explain that rock climbing is the easiest sport to get into, and the community is the nicest and most welcoming, MCC is the shining star of that claim.”
From the reviews
I wandered into the Coop about 5 years ago. At the time, I could barely cross the street on my own so it was a miracle that I found the semi-hidden entrance to the place. I have been a big fan ever since. It’s true, the coop doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the bigger, more expensive gyms. Locker rooms?
Excellent route setting that seems to accurately reflect the difficulty of outdoor climbing and the only gym that allows me to fit climbing into my busy schedule. Thanks to the crew who keep this gym going, this is the kind of place that makes NE a great place to live.
When I listened to Go! My Favorite Sports Team! Explain that rock climbing is the easiest sport to get into, and the community is the nicest and most welcoming, MCC is the shining star of that claim. I haven’t been climbing since I was a teeny little guy, and I’ve been looking for something to better my general health.
I have been a member for the past year here and absolutely love it. I used to work nights and its hard to describe the feeling of biking over on a summer night, listening to your own music and having the gym to yourself for hours. Pretty unbeatable. Problems are challenging with lots of variation.
