Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Café on site somewhere to grab a coffee and hang out between climbs
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

What climbers say again and again
“Super spacious, calm, clean, enough equipment, relaxing pool and lap lanes, walking path, multi sport courts, hotel spaces, spa and much more.”
“Had a great time at the Mason Community Center!”
From the reviews
All the amenities you can think of and more! I suggest getting the premium pass because it gives you access to both the indoor and outdoor pool. Both are spectacular and the outdoor pool was just recently (in the last few years) completely demolished and re-created, boasting a lazy river, two supersonic speed slides!
Had a great time at the Mason Community Center! We went on the last day of the spring break special so the price was great! Would def go again!
Came for a birthday party today. 🙂 From what I observed, the party people were helpful, pleasant and informative. The facility was very clean, updated and safe. The front desk was not helpful, but they pointed me in the right direction to be helped. It was a good experience all around.
Mason Community Center – A Welcoming Gem with Room to Grow Earlier this year, I visited the Mason Community Center pool after hearing someone rave about how neat it was—and they weren’t wrong. That one visit turned into a membership, and I’ve been grateful ever since.
Birthday parties at Mason Community Center
Mason Community Center hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
