- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems

From the reviews
20-year-old gym that gets it right. Great people everywhere. Life's a mirror - surround yourself with good folks and life gets better. People here spot you, cheer you on, and talk smack about Texas football. Fellow Longhorns know what's up. Kid Academy is golden.
Love this place. Hubby and I joined at the end of last August. We are Gen X age and looking to build some up lost muscle and lose some weight. The gym is beautiful and very clean. All staff from the front desk, trainers, and cleaning crew are friendly and helpful.
They hijacked my review before, so I'm revising it. Only one aqua fitness class and it's weekdays 9am, which doesn't work for most people except retirees. Also the other free group classes have gone down in quality, with some exceptions. Otherwise pretty good. Great equipment.
Back to Lifetime again after 2 years. Last time was at Lifetime in Dallas. It even better at Flower Mound location, IMO. Everything is so nice, bigger, and spacious. Signed up right after my tour and thanks for showing me around and answered all my question (forgot the young lady name).
Kids classes & camps at Life Time
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Life Time — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
