Plan your visit
- Day pass around $15 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Ages 0–12 — the gym's own stated range

What's inside
“Good variety of angles across the walls, and you get the sense that the route-setters want to train you for outdoor bouldering: lots of slab, mantles, and scary top-outs.”
“They have a few free weights, campus board, and pull up bar as well as cardio machines on their second floor.”
“The training area (there is one upstairs and downstairs) is well-equipped with weights, hangboard, anything you can think of except for a moonboard.”

From the reviews
Went to LA Boulder on the recommendation of a friend, and it's located in the art district of LA. The day pass is 30 dollars, which is about the same as other large climbing gyms in southern California. After checking in, you'll notice that the place is pretty spacious.
A very nice and well maintained bouldering gym. The staff were super friendly and the sets here were extremely fun to climb on. The training area (there is one upstairs and downstairs) is well-equipped with weights, hangboard, anything you can think of except for a moonboard.
Super fun atmosphere. Everyone here was so friendly. It was my first time and it was great. Also very affordable pricing and rent prices for gear was super affordable. Also includes some weights for a mini on site gym and great boulders to climb
Great boulder-only gym. I spent a couple hours here on a short visit to LA. I'll definitely come back. Rating was reasonable, setting was consistent and fun. Good workout spaces, too.
