What's inside
“Brett and Angel took me out today for a day bouldering guide in East Cochise Stronghold, learned a lot and definitely improved my climbing technique thanks to them!”
What climbers say again and again
“Whether you're climbing for the first time or ready to learn more advanced skills, I can't recommend Ciba Guiding enough.”
“🌟🧗♂️ First off, let's talk about the sense of community – it's like Cheers, but with carabiners instead of bar stools.”
From the reviews
Climb on over, folks, because this local rock climbing gym deserves a solid five stars and a standing ovation! 🌟🧗♂️ First off, let's talk about the sense of community – it's like Cheers, but with carabiners instead of bar stools.
I really enjoy climbing here. The employees are friendly and generally knowledgeable. The gym is pretty small, but it still manages to fit lots of interesting climbs and training equipment if you need it. I see a lot of the same people here, which fosters a nice sense of community.
Excellent guided climbing with Cuba. We —a group of 5 of varied skill/experience—climbed at Cochise Stronghold with Jeremiah, Angel and Paco from Ciba. The weather forecast for the day was very iffy and Jeremiah went out of his way to communicate with me on conditions and contingencies the day before.
This place is amazing! You should really try it out! I have been coming here for about 4 months and I have really come a long way! They provide classes and memberships! They take precautions due to covid but you can still have lots of fun!
Birthday parties at Ciba Climbing
Ciba Climbing hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Ciba Climbing
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Ciba Climbing — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
