What's inside
“I go to the Bouldering Project multiple times a week for hot yoga, and it’s become my favorite yoga studio in the Gowanus/Park Slope area.”
“I've tried most of the other climbing gyms in Brooklyn and this is the only one I've found that also has really good yoga classes and workout facilities.”
“They also have a compact but excellent weight room setup, plus a kilter board / moon board, which are great additions too.”
What climbers say again and again
“The studio itself is clean, warm, and bright with hanging plants & big windows letting the sunlight pour in.”
“I've tried most of the other climbing gyms in Brooklyn and this is the only one I've found that also has really good yoga classes and workout facilities.”
“I'd never climbed before coming to the Bouldering Project; I've taken a few intro classes with Lucy and had a blast.”
“The facilities are great as well, including a full gym, locker rooms with showers and a cool co-working space in the back.”
“It's a great place to learn -- everyone is warm and welcoming, and there's a lack of judgement that you don't find everywhere.”
From the reviews
The Bouldering Project offers an impressive range of activities for all ages, including bouldering, yoga, High-Intensity Training (HIT), weight training, cold plunge, and co-working space. I initially joined for the yoga classes and it’s great that the membership comes with additional offerings.
Bouldering Project 🧗♂️ is a great climbing gym with a really nice atmosphere. Like most gyms, it’s pretty quiet during mid day but gets busy after work hours (around 5 and on ⏰). The boulders are graded more on the easier side overall, which makes it welcoming for beginners, but still fun.
I really like that you can go to any of the Bouldering project locations if you have one membership. I go to college at one of the locations and when Im home in NY am able to use this one for free. The setting is great and the staff is usually friendly. Its pretty convenient and the hours are pretty good.
Nice facilities! While it doesn’t have top-roping anymore, everything else about Bouldering Project seems superior to the old Brooklyn Boulders. BP seems well run. The mats gets vacuumed every night. The gym equipment looks clean and organized. The circuit system rating seems pretty on point.
